Hi, my name is Oliver Brown, I have always been fascinated by the way that wood can be transformed into something so different from its original form. I love the challenge of taking a blank piece of wood and turning it into something that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
as a kid, I always loved going into the forest with my dad. I would bring my pocket knife and he would let me help him cut down trees. It was my chance to feel like a “man” and I loved it.
as I grew older, I began to appreciate the woodworking process more and more. I loved the smell of fresh-cut lumber and the sound of a saw blade ripping through wood.
Nowadays, I’m a full-time woodworker and I couldn’t be happier. I still love going into the forest and cutting down trees, but now I also get to turn that lumber into beautiful furniture.
Wood carving is my passion and I love nothing more than taking a piece of wood and turning it into something special. I am always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of my carving and to create pieces that are both unique and stylish.
My pleasure is to share my passion for wood carving with others and to teach them the skills that I have learned. I believe that anyone can learn to carve if they have the passion and the dedication to do so.
